First I want to start this post out by saying these are just some tips and such that I have found to help me!
Also, I am not the best at Meal Planning! I have the best of intentions and get started on a meal plan and end up never finishing and go off it very quickly!
I have been doing better each month and one these days I will have it down good!

On to the Meal Planning Tips we go!!

1. Make a List of Meals You Love
I usually sit down and write up a list of meals my family loves! Those can be Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner!
If you plan to make meals that are loved you will be better at sticking with it!
We have started doing Taco Tuesday in my house so that is a must-have on the list for us!
Also when you are thinking of meals your family loves just scribble them down! No need to try and write it all fancy or come up with sides to go with it and all just yet!

2. Pull Your Recourses Together
The next thing I do is clear off my Dining Room table(you could also do this before you make your list and just work from there from the start), set my laptop up, and pull all my cookbooks and cooking magazines out!
I like to pull recipes from Pinterest and other online sources and also from the cookbooks and magazines I have!
Any new things I want to try from these resources I write down there name and were to find them when I need it for that meal on that day!

3. Make Your Calander Meal Plan
So something like the photo above is great as well as just a plain notebook paper and break down the dates and such!
I write mine down in my planner as well!
Putting the meals down on paper for each day will help allot!
Make sure you write down sides and all! This helps you not feel lost with just a main dish and then throw it all out the window!

4. Make Your Grocery List
I usually try and look at my pantry and see what I have and then make my list from there!
I shop for a month at one time so I usually have a big list!

BONUS TIP:
Cut and wash your fruits and veggies when you get home and start putting them up! This helps allot and I have found that I use them much faster so they don't go bad on me!

What are some Meal Planning Tips that you have? Share them with us!

My sweet friend Janine recently asked me to do a review on her upcoming children's book and of course, I had to say yes!

I have not had the privilege to meet Janine in person yet but we got connected thru social media as we both have a passion for supporting and encouraging women! I have gotten to know Janine for a bit now and love her passion and courage! I was very happy to do this review for her! She sent me the ebook and I was blown away!

But first, before I get carried away let me tell you a little about Janine!

Janine Hernandez is a well-renowned author, speaker, mentor, and world changer. Janine is the CEO and Founder of Purpose Driven Initiatives LLC and PDI Publishing. She focuses on the advancement of women in the capacity of women empowerment events, book publishing and motivational speaking. Her mission is to be the light that pushes you to your purpose and is passionate about helping others and motivating them to succeed. Janine loves to give back to the community and help underprivileged youth as she was honored to be awarded the 2011 Mitch Akin Mentor of the Year Award (New Pathways Program). She holds a Master of Arts in International Business Management which has helped fuel her entrepreneur spirit!

Also here is a little about the book (not my words) to help you understand it better! I will share my review of it next!

Feathers in The Sky is a tale about a girl named Juju who sees different color feathers along her path. Each feather represents something different and has a different meaning. Juju encounters some bullying but with the help of her aunt, she is able to overcome her situation. This book is meant to empower and uplift our youth by spreading love, joy, kindness, and gratitude."

When I read this book I was blown away!
The graphics are amazing! Bright colors and simple and short text on each page are sure to keep even the young reader entertained!
I love how feathers are used in this book! The Whymsical part they play is great for children but can be used even for older kids as well!
This book would also be great to help your child learn to pay attention and find things! Your child can be told to find the feather on each page! My 3 year old loves to search for things in books and I had him find the feathers! He loved it!
This book would make an amazing gift and could even be given along with a pack of bright colored feathers as a hands-on bonus!

The book is set to be printed in August 2018 and shipping out in September 2018!
There are different levels you can pledge or buy in at that can give you signed copies and all!

Right now Janine is running a Kickstart program! You can buy or pledge your amount and that secures your book or books! They will be sent out hopefully in September if the kickstart gets the fudning needed! Dates are subject to change depedning on how funding goes!
This kickstart is something you want to be apart of and dont want to miss! Be sure and use the link below to get in on it!

Here in East Texas, we have hit the 90-degree mark for 2 days! If that does not feel like summer then I am not sure what does!
When its hot like this I love to try and turn the oven on as little as possible! We have not had a grill since we have been married and this past weekend we got one! The perks of not living in an apartment anymore are great and this is one of them!

We have grilled out twice since then and are planning to grill out tonight for supper! We have done steak, hot dogs, and tonight plan to do hamburgers!
I can't wait to grill some chicken breast soon and I snagged a pack of Classic Braughts the other day and plan to use them soon as well!

I love to grill veggies too! There are so many ways to grill them!

A nice soft char on some veggies is just oh too good! Corn is the best on the grill!
Peppers are also another great one to lay directly on the grill and get a char on them!

I want to try and grill some fruit soon! Peaches would be super yummy! The sugar in the peach would help crisp them up some and you could pull them off and eat it with some ice cream!

How do you like to grill? We got a propane grill and that is what we prefer but allot of people love to charbroil grills!

Leave us a comment letting us know what your favorite thing to grill is!

Taco's are a staple in my house! We live in Texas and there is a Taco truck on every corner it feels like! Plus we have your normal big chain taco stores!
But to be honest with you there is nothing better than a good homemade taco!

I grew up with build your own taco nights and that is what we do in our house now! It is an easy and quick meal but also super filling and yummy! I set all the ingredients out on my counter and everyone can snag a plate and make their tacos how they want!

This is my go-to meal for when company comes over as well! I love it cause if anyone is not a fan of a veggie or such they can just choose to leave it off!!

We use both flour and corn tortillas! I love flour and my husband loves corn! He does like the flour when I fry them tho!

We sometimes will get hard shells as well! That is usually more for my husband but I like them too sometimes! What are you favorite shells?

I love to chop stuff up to put on the tacos! We usually always have chicken or a beef plus then all the good veggies!
I love to have a few lemons and limes around for taco night!
We also love chopped tomatoes, avocado, and a good purple onion!

Usually, we have salsa and sour cream to top things off!
I always try and have chips out and then we do salsa or guacamole to dip!

What are your favorites for Taco night at your house? Is there something that is a staple for it that you cant go without on your taco?

*All opinions in this post are my own! I was given a 3-day free sample but was not paid for this post*

I was given a 3-day sample of Revital U to try! I loved the idea of opening a packet and just dumping and mixing and I was done!

I tried mine with both cold and hot water and liked them both ways! I do not like crazy strong coffee and these were so good!

You can get this is a tub like shown above or in these cool packets that are already set to go! You can carry them with you wherever!

Revital U is 100% Arabic Coffee and has allot of great ingredients including some that are found in Green Tea as well!
Revital U has been known to help with energy and weight loss! I only had a 3-day sample so I cannot say that this was true for me but they do suggest that you take it for 14 days to see best results!

There are some yummy ways to mix this up and not just be a normal coffee drink! Let me share a few with you that I found sound super good!

If you are interested in trying a sample or even jumping in and going for a 14 day supply please feel free to contact Sabrina Drewery! All her contact info is below!

Sabrina thank you so much for the samples and letting me test this product for you!
Yall should contact her and get some samples!! It's really good stuff!!
